The Victron Color Control GX has a built-in Ethernet port for network connectivity. However, running network cables is not always possible, so the the long-range WiFi module is an ideal solution. In most cases, the Color Control will automatically configure itself once the module is plugged into the back of the panel (you may need to enter the network password). Once connected to the network or internet, you can then activate the VRM Portal, which allows you to view, datalog and control your Color Control system from any internet browser, or via Victron's iPhone or Android apps.
