The Leading Edge LE-v150 Storm is a rugged, silent and highly reliable vertical axis wind turbine designed to provide power for a host of different battery charging applications where winds can gust up to 45m/s (100mph). The LE-v150 Storm Standard Kit includes the DL-300 diversion charge controller.
The wind turbine is connected directly to the batteries and the DL-300 charge controller is also connected to the batteries. When the batteries are fully charged, the controller diverts excess power generated by the wind turbine into the DL-300's resistor, dissipating the power as heat.
Included are 7 x 70mm U-bolts (BZP) for side mounting to 50mm or 60mm OD pole.
